I found the sketch for this card on Pinterest – surprise, surprise!  I thought it would work well with the dies from the Eastern Palace Product Suite.

I embossed Very Vanilla card using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and attached a strip of the Lemon Lime Twist Designer Series Paper from the Eastern Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper to the right hand side.  The embossed card is attached to scored and folded Dapper Denim card.  I love the combination of Lemon Lime Twist and Dapper Denim, it is so vibrant.  I attached a Gold Metallic Foil Doily to the card front.  I attached a Very Vanilla circle punched using the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch to a 2″ circle punched from of Berry Burst card and then to the centre of the Gold Doily.  I cut Dapper Denim card using a small circle die from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies and also a medium circle from the same dies.  These are attached to the card front, small one below and the large one above the Gold Doily.  I stamped “enjoy today” from the Eastern Beauty stamp set onto Very Vanilla card using Dapper Denim ink and attached it to a circle of Berry Burst card cut using the smallest Layering Circles Die.  The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals.   I cut the flower from Berry Burst card twice and then cut between the petals to make two flowers.  I curled the petals using my bone folder and attached the flower one on top of the other before attaching to the centre of the Very Vanilla circle using a dimensional.  Lastly I punched a 1/2″ circle from Gold Foil card and added it to the centre of the flower.

To decorate the inside of the card, I borrowed an idea shared on a demonstrator facebook group.  Unfortunately I have forgotten the demonstrator’s name but I am really thankful for the idea.  You simply stamp the flower and then stamp twice more, slightly offsetting each time.  I creates this gorgeous flower medallion.  My flower is stamped in Dapper Denim ink onto Very Vanilla card.

The more I use these products, the more I am loving them.
