Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches this week.  I decided to combine the retiring stamp set No Bones About It with the Waterfront stamp set which will be included in the next Annual Catalogue. I attached Whisper White card to scored and folded Basic Gray card.  I attached a piece of the Myths and Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper to the centre of the Whisper White card.  I cut a narrow panel of Whisper White card and stamped the bone image for each dinosaur from the No Bones About It stamp set using Basic Gray ink and then stamped the solid images over the top using Smoky Slate ink.  I stamped the solid dinosaur image onto a couple of post-it-notes and cut them out to cover the stamped dinosaur images.  I used the mountain image from the Waterfront stamp set and Fresh Fig ink to create the mountains behind the dinosaurs.  I stamped the ground beneath the dinosaurs using another of the images from the Waterfront stamp set and Basic Gray and Pool Party ink.  I stamped the sky using the same image as for the ground but this time only Pool Party ink.  I partially inked the tree image  from the Waterfront stamp set and stamped multiple times using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The stamped panel is attached to Basic Gray card and then to the card front.

To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the mountain image and the tree image from the Waterfront stamp set using Fresh Fig and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I am really happy with the way these two stamp sets have come together.   The Waterfront stamp set has created what I believe is a great “rainforest” background to compliment the dinosaurs.  Don’t you agree?
