Inspired by Nature
Well I promised to show you something using a different stampset. This one is called Inspired by Nature and it is part of the Stampin’ Up! decorative range. The images in this set are larger than most and they can be used as stand-alone decorative images. If you look at the catalogue on page 74 you will see that the images have been stamped and framed and they look absolutely lovely. The set contains two large images and two word stamps – “Live with Passion” and “Good works are links that form a chain of love – Mother Theresa”.

Anyway with this card I used my Regal Rose marker to colour the flowers and then I used the Rose Red marker to colour the edges of the flower. I used my old olive marker to colour the stems and leaves and then my Always Artichoke marker to add a bit of depth. Then I spritzed with a water bottle ever so lightly, just to blend the colours and stamped onto Whisper White cardstock. I mounted the piece onto Always Artichoke cardstock and then Rose Red folded cardstock.
I inked “live with passion” with my Always Artichoke marker, “huffed” and stamped onto whisper white cardstock, cut it out and mounted onto Always Artichoke cardstock. This piece was adhered to the cardfront using dimensionals. Very simple and easy card to do but the images are so effective. Do you like?
