Scrap Challenge
Although I am not a very good scrapbooker, Mandy posted a scrapbook challenge on the Demonstrator website that I belong to and I decided that I would play along. I had these photos of my last birthday and thought that I would use them.

I used Chocolate Chip 12 x 12 for the base of my page and stamped the bamboo image from the Embrace Life stampset over the top right hand side of the page using Chocolate Chip ink. I mounted the photos onto Rose Red card and used a piece of So Saffron Patterns DSP on the left hand side which I cut and then distressed with my sissors. The words are from the On Your Birthday stampset. I used Chocolate Chip ink and stamped on whisper white cardstock. I cut the words out with my oval cutter and mounted it onto another oval of Almost Amethyst cardstock. The flowers were stamped on Whisper White – three in Almost Amethyst and one in Rose Red and cut out. One Almost Amethyst flower is attached to the two ovals and then the whole piece is mounted with dimensionals to the top left hand side of the page. The other three flowers were attached to the right hand side of the page, the Rose Red flower is mounted on dimensionals. My journalling was done with a white gel pen.
I am rather happy with how the page turned out. What do you think?

Beautiful scrap page – I love that stamp set! The colours look really good together too. Sarah
