All in the Family

I thought I would pop in and show you two of the cards that we made at our recent stamp-a-stack.  We made 8 cards altogether, 4 basic designs with a male and female variation.  I designed 2 and Sarah designed 2.  At the moment I only have a photo of one of the cards which is actually cased from last years Idea Book and Catalogue.

This card uses the All in the Family stampset.  The base cardstock is Kraft and we stamped this with the Sanded background stamp using versamark.  The images were stamped in black ink on whisper white card and coloured using markers or blender pens and ink.  The girls card is coloured using Rose Red and Regal Rose and then mounted onto Regal Rose cardstock.  The greeting is from On Your Birthday.  It is stamped in versamark and embossed in white on the Rose Red cardstock.  This is then wraped with Regal Rose wide grosgrain ribbon.  The boys card is stamped in the same manner and coloured using Baja Breeze and Pacific Point ink.  It is then mounted onto Pacific Point cardstock and wraped with linen thread.  The greeting is done in the same way onto Pacific Point Cardstock.  The Rose Red/Pacific Point panels are attached to the Kraft card on the top left hand side and the image panel is mounted over the top using dimensionals.

All in the Family is a fun set to use but you definitely need a stamp-a-ma-jig to get a good result.
