Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street
I have been wanting to make a card using punches to create the Sesame Street characters for a very long time. I have seen numerous examples on the net over time but couldn’t find any instructions anywhere when I wanted to make one. I was surfing the net (again) and came across a beautiful card made by Carol Dunstan. So I was able to create my own version.
I made this card for my Grandson who is turning 3 this week. I used Real Red as my base card and used a piece of Summer Sun to layer on top. The black card has had the edges punched using the spiral punch and the sentiment is from the Occasional Greetings stampset – the only stampset used. I only used three characters on the front of the card and used the Cookie Monster inside. The characters were made using the following punches – Scallop Circle Punch, 1/2″ circle punch, Crop-A-Dile (for pupils), small oval punch, 1 1/4″ circle punch, 3/4″ punch, Boho Blossoms punch (for the cookie bite), Chocolate Chip marker (for the chocolate chips). The list of punches was provided by Carol very generously in her instructions – thanks so much.
I love the way the card turned out.

Kris,
This is fantastic. You should be so proud of yourself. I bet your grandson was tickled pink when he got his special card.
