Another Christmas Project

I told you I would come back and share another project made using the Big Shot and the Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die which will become available on the 1st December with the release of the Summer Mini Catalogue.

This time I have created a set of drink coasters.  I used the left over material from my Merry Christmas Pennant and created this set of six coasters.  I cut the glittery white material using the Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die and the Ornaments were cut using the Movers and Shapers Ornament shape.  I used double sided iron on wadding (again cut with the Big Shot and the Scallop Square) to join the front and the back then I ironed on the ornaments.  Next out came my sewing machine and I did a little sewing around the edges and also around the ornament shape.  I think these have turned out great and will be fun to use on Christmas Day.

These coasters were also made using left over scraps from my Christmas Pennant, unfortunately I did not have enough material to make a set and I couldn’t buy any more at Spotlight, so these will have to be “one-of-a-kind”. 

I am loving finding new ways to use my Big Shot and Dies.
