A Sweet Card

The current challenge at Late Night Stampers is to make a card adding something sweet.

The cupcake from the Party Hearty stampset sprang to mind (maybe because it is about the only set I have that portrays something sweet).  Anyway I inked the cupcake using my Rose Red and Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped onto Whisper White card.  I masked the cupcake and stamped the candle 3 times again using my Rose Red and Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Markers to ink them up.  Next I took my Two-Way glue pen and coloured in the icing and the candle flames.  Then into the Dazzling Diamonds to add a lovely touch of bling.  I layered the image piece onto Rose Red Card.   I stamped the “you take the cake!” from Party Hearty using Rose Red ink and then ran it through the Big Shot using the soon to be released Square Lattice Embossing Folder and wrapped it with the beautiful Whisper White 5/8″ Organza ribbon.  The base card is Rose Red card.
