Christmas Stamp-A-Stack
I held a Christmas Stamp-A-Stack on Friday night and some lovely ladies had a great time making 8 cards. Today I am going to show you two of the cards that we made.

For this first one, the ladies had to cut a Top Note from Very Vanilla card and also one from the Holly Jolly Designer series paper. The designer series paper Top Note was cut in half and added to the right hand side of the Very Vanilla Top Note. The baubles from Tree Trimmings were stamped in Cherry Cobbler and the “strings” were drawn using a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker. The Top Note was then embossed using the Final Press Embossing Folder. The 5/8″ Old Olive Satin Ribbon was tied around the right hand side and then it was layered onto the base card. The Cherry Cobbler base card has been swiped with the Cherry Cobbler ink pad to give some texture. A simple card but I love it. The ladies made two of these cards on Friday night.

The second card is Whisper White and Real Red, although the photography is so awful, I must apologise. The baubles from Christmas Classics were stamped in Real Red ink and then holes were punched through the hanger using the Crop-A-Dile. 1/8″ Real Red Taffeta Ribbon was secured at the back of the card and threaded through the hole to the front and then wrapped onto the back of the card at the top to create the “strings”. Seasons Greetings from Many Merry Messages was stamped across the bottom using Real Red ink. 5/8″ satin ribbon was wrapped around the front of the card and then a bow was added using mini glue dots. The ladies also made two of these cards.

I’m not sure if you can see or not but there are two sets of two scored lines on the Whisper White card and the Real Red Satin Ribbon is placed between the scored lines. Do you like my bow? Well it was tied using my new Ribbon Bow Tying Stand which my son-in-law made. This little gadget makes tying bows so easy – its like having another set of hands. If you would like one of these great little gadgets, then please contact me for more details. Let me tell you the ladies love it and I sold two on Friday night ($10.00 each or 2 for $15.00).
I’ll pop back and show you the other cards tomorrow.
Bye for now, Kris.
