Sale-A-Bration

It’s rolled around again so quickly – that time of year when you can earn something for free.  The Sale-A-Bration stampsets this year are really quite lovely.  One of my favourites is Punch Bunch.

I created this set of 4 cards using only the Punch Bunch stampset.  And you know the really exciting thing about this set – every stamp fits a punch.  So creating a card or even a scrap page is so easy with this set.  My cards use Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade and Blushing Bride.  These are all In-Colours this year.  The cards are all 4 x 4″ , the Whisper White is 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and has been embossed using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

For the Concord Crush card I added a 2 3/8″ scallop Circle punched from Concord Crush card and then I stamped the image using Concord Crush ink and punched it out with the 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle.   They are layered together and then added to the card front using dimensionals.

For the Pear Pizzazz card I added a 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle punched from Pear Pizzazz card and then a Whisper White circle punched with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch.  Then I stamped the Owl image using Pear Pizzazz ink on Whisper White card and punched him out using the Two Step Owl Punch.

For the Poppy Parade card I added a layer of Poppy Parade card which has one edge punched with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch.  Another layer of embossed Whisper White card and then the image which is stamped onto Whisper White card using Poppy Parade ink and punched out using the Square Scallop Punch.

The Blushing Bride card has the welcome baby image which has been stamped onto Whisper White card using Blushing Bride ink and punched out using the Large Tag punch.  This is then layered onto Blushing Bride card punched out with the Extra Large Tag punch.

All in all a pretty simple set of cards but I really love it.    Tomorrow I will show you the little box I created to hold the cards.
