My Sudsol Swap

February 4, 2011

Firstly an apology for my lack of posts recently.  I have been away with my husband and two of my grandchildren.  Last weekend we attended a luncheon to celebrate my Dad’s 80th birthday.   There were 28 of us and that’s just family.  I wonder how Mum and Dad feel when they look around and realise what they are responsible for.   3 daughters, 5 grandchildren and so far 11 great grandchildren.

Anyway I participated recently in a Swap organised by Sudsol for Australian and New Zealand Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.   The swap was organised to showcase the Sale-A-Bration stampsets.

This is my swap card.  I started with a 4″ x 4″ Basic Black card and added a layer of Whisper White which has been embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I added a narrow strip of Basic Black card which has been punched on both long edges using the Scallop Trim Border Punch.  I added 3 Basic Black brads in the top left hand corner before attaching the Whisper White card.  Next I stamped the flower image from Punch Bunch onto Whisper White card using Real Red ink.  I punched the image out using the 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle.  I added a medium Clear Rhinestone to the centre of the full flower and then attached the image to the card front using dimensionals.

I love this Sale-A-Bration set, especially because you can punch all of the images from the set using co-ordinating punches.  A great time saver when you need something gorgeous, very quickly.

When I  arrived home yesterday my return swaps were waiting for me.  I will try and pop in later today or tomorrow to show you the fabulous examples from some great Aussie and New Zealand Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.

Bye for now,  Kris.
