A Birdie Birthday
The challenge at Late Night Stampers this week is to make a card, scrapbook page or 3D item using birds.

I received this card for my birthday last week from my Aunty. I really like the card and wanted to try and recreate it using my Stampin’ Up! supplies.

My card is 5 1/2″ square – I cut a piece of Confetti Cream 11″ x 5 1/2″ and scored it at 5 1/2″ to make my square card. I love the texture of the confetti cardstock. I stamped the large swirl from the Baroque Motifs stampset using Early Expresso ink. The bird on the top right hand side of the card uses the Punch Potpourri stampset. I stamped the bird onto Confetti Cream card using Bashful Blue ink and then punched it out using the Two Step Bird Punch. The rest of the pieces for the birds were cut from Bashful Blue card using the same punch. I sponged all of the pieces using Marina Mist ink. The greeting from the Sincere Salutations stampset is stamped using Marina Mist ink onto Confetti Cream card and punched out using the Extra Large Oval Punch. The mat is cut from Bashbul Blue card using the Big Shot and one of the dies from the Lots of Tags Sizzlets.
I think my card is a good representation of the one I Cased. What do you think?
Bye for now, Kris.
