Extreme Guitar

Well today I made a card using the Stamping 411 sketch and my new  Extreme Elements and Extreme Guitar stampsets.  Did I mention that I really love them!

I started with Early Expresso card 11″ x 5.5″, scored and folded to make a 5.5″ square card.  For my next layer I used Whisper White card 5.25″ x 5.25″ and masked the top half with a couple of post-it notes.  I stamped various images from Extreme Elements using Crumb Cake, Real Red and Marina Mist.  I removed the post-it notes added a strip of Marina Mist 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon at the top of the stamping and attached it to the card front.  I stamped the largest image from Extreme Elements using Crumb Cake ink  onto Whisper White card 3.25″ x 3.25″ and then overstamped the Extreme Guitar using Early Expresso ink.  I added a mat of Early Expresso card  3 3/8″ x 3 3/8″ to this image panel and attached it to the centre of the card.  Lastly I stamped “celebrate” from the Fabulous Phrases stampset using Marina Mist ink onto Whisper White card and punched it out using the Small Oval punch.   I added a layer of Real Red punched with the Large Oval punch and added it to the card using dimensionals.

I love the way this has turned out.  What do you think?
