Clean & Simple Take 1

This is my first attempt at the Clean and Simple Sketch this week. 

I have used Whisper White as my card base.  Then I took a piece of Perfect Plum card and ran it through the Big Shot using the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder but only embosssing about two-thirds of the card.  I wrapped a piece of Old Olive 5/8″ grosgain ribbon over the Perfect Plum card to mask where the embossing ended.  I cut Whisper White card using one of the dies from the Lots of Tags Sizzlets and  stamped “forever” from Fabulous Phrases using Perfect Plum ink.  I attached the tag to the card front under the ribbon.  I stamped the largest flower from Vintage Vogue onto Whisper White card using Rose Red ink and cut it out.  I stamped the small flower from Vintage Vogue onto Whisper White card using Rose Red ink but stamped once onto scrap paper first and cut it out.  I also stamped the leaf image from Vintage Vogue four times onto Whisper White card using Old Olive ink and cut them out.  I attached the small flower to the centre of the large flower and pierced a hole in the centre.  I added one of the smaller Antique Brads into the centre of the flowers.  I attached the leaves to the back of the largest flower and added the whole thing to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.

I like the layout and I am reasonably happy with the card but I did make another one which I will show you tomorrow.
