Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge 217
This week Stamping 411 have two sketches to choose from to complete your project. They are also offering a prize to be awarded to one of the operators picks for the week. A great incentive to enter the challenge.
I used the pretty striped Poppy Parade Designer paper in the Hostess Designer Series Paper Pack – In-Colour and added it to a mat of Poppy Parade card. I stamped the image from the Lovely as a Tree stampset using Night of Navy ink onto Very Vanilla card. I attached the image panel to a mat of Night of Navy card and added it to the centre of the designer paper. I wrapped the whole piece with Poppy Parade 1/2″ Stitched-Poly Ribbon and then attached it to the Sahara Sand base card. I stamped “thinking of you” from the Three Little Words stampset using Night of Navy ink onto Very Vanilla card. I punched a Night of Navy mat using the Scallop Oval punch and then attached the greeting to the card front.

Here is a close up of the gorgeous tree image. I absolutely love this stampset and I am so glad that it is included in the new catalogue which will be released on the 1st September.
Bye for now, Kris.

Lovely as a Tree is my favourite stamp set as well. You have used it well for the 411 challenge. Love the colours you used.

What I like about your card is,
that most of the time, in fact all of the time, other cardmakers show this stamp set in a
PEACEFUL mood, while you have show us that it can be PERKY as well. Great job, Kris!
