An Easy Happy Birthday
I made this card as part of my gift for the Hostess at my workshop last weekend.
My Hostess has lots of great grandchildren and I thought this card would come in handy.
I started with a base card of Rich Razzleberry.
I embossed the Whisper White card using two embossing folders – Perfect Polka Dots and Petals-a-Plenty. To do this, lay the cardstock into the folder so that it is crossways and then butt the other folder up to it and run through the Big Shot.
You get a little gap between the two lots of embossing and often a line made by the folder edges.
To cover this I cut a strip of Rich Razzleberry card and punched both long edges with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. After attaching this strip to the Whisper White card I wrapped it with Whisper White 5/8″ Organza Ribbon and tied a knot. This whole piece was then attached to the card front.

I stamped the cupcake image from the Easy Events stampset onto Whisper White card using Black Stazon ink. I used my Regal Rose, Rich Razzleberry and Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write Markers to colour the image. I attached a mat of Rich Razzleberry and attached it to the card front using dimensionals. This is really a simple card to make but being able to add two different embossing folders to the one piece of cardstock gives maximum effect with minimum effort.
My Hostess really liked this card.
Bye for now, Kris.

Beautiful card! I love how you used two different embossing folders on the one card. Great idea. ~Sophia
