Happy Birthday Jason

Today is my son-in-law’s birthday.  Jason is a mad keen Ford racing car fan which is  one of the reasons that I bought the Need for Speed stampset.

I started with a base card of Night of Navy and added a layer of Whisper White card which has been embossed using the Stripes Embossing Folder.  I embossed another piece of Whisper White card using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder, added a layer of Marina Mist card stock which has the bottom edge punched using the Scallop Border Punch and then attached it to the card front.  I stamped the “racing car” image from the Need for Speed stampset onto Whisper White card stock using Night of Navy ink, attached it to a layer of Night of Navy card stock and then to the card front using dimensionals.  I inked “happy birthday” from the On Your Birthday stampset using a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker (because I didn’t want to ink the dots and the exclamation mark).  I punched the greeting out using the Word Window Punch and attached it to a Night of Navy Modern Label.  The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals.

This is a very simple card but I love the way it has turned out and hope that Jason does too.
