This week at Sunny Challenges and Creations we have a fantastic sketch provided by the very talented Gwen.  Along with using the sketch, we need to have a Nursery Theme.

I don’t have many images suitable for a nursery theme, so I went with the Easy Events stampset.

I started with a base card of Chocolate Chip and added a layer of Whisper White card stock which I embossed using the Stripes Embossing Folder.  I also embossed a piece of Whisper White card using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  I attached two strips of Chocolate Chip cardstock to this piece which had been punched using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and then attached to the front of the card.  I cut the middle sized oval from the Ovals Originals Die from Pretty in Pink cardstock and then embossed it using the Oval Designer Frame Embossing Folder.  I stamped the duck image from the Easy Events stampset onto Bashful Blue card stock using Black Stazon ink and cut the water from the image.  I stamped the same image onto So Saffron card stock and cut the duck out.  I stamped the image onto Pretty in Pink card and cut out the umbrella and hat.  Lastly I stamped the image onto Whisper White card and added all the pieces I had cut out to the image.  Once it was assembled I punched the whole piece using the Extra Large Oval Punch.  This piece then fits very nicely into the embossed oval frame.  I attached this to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped “welcome baby” from the Short and Sweet stampset onto Whisper White card stock using Chocolate Chip ink and punched it out using the Large Oval Punch.  I attached it to a Pretty in Pink Scallop Oval and then attached it to the card front using dimensionals.
