Convention – You’re Great
We made a really cute note card at Convention using the I Think You’re Great stamp set. I loved the card and decided to recreate it for one of my classes, with a little variation. I stamped the “leafy” image from the stamp set onto Whisper White card using Mint Macaron ink. I added a very narrow strip of designer series paper from the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack which is now retired but you could use the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper which is what they used at Convention.
I attached the stamped card to Mint Macaron card and then to scored and folded Basic Black card. I stamped the “I think you’re great” image onto scrap Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, cut out the “you’re” and “great” and attached them to the card front.
Lastly I added a few Basic Rhinestones. The basic layout is the same as the one we made at Convention but I just had to add a few more layers. Inside I simply stamped the scallop image onto the bottom of Whisper White card using Mint Macaron ink. Since it was for one of my classes, this gave everyone the chance to use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line up the image across the bottom of the card.
Very simple but very sweet, don’t you think? Thanks Stampin’ Up! for the inspiration.
Bye for now,
Kris
