Countryside Corners
Today I have a fancy fold card to share that I have been meaning to try for a long time and since I used this product suite in my Facebook Live this week, I thought it was about time. I followed some instructions for this Multi-Panel Accordian card that I found on Pinterest by Beccy Muir in Queensland. I cut my card base pieces from Basic White card and cut the openings in the larger card base using one of the Countryside Corners Dies. I cut four pieces of the same pattern of Countryside Inn 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. I cut the centre from two of the panels using a slightly larger Countryside Corners Die before attaching them to the large card base. I attached panels of a different pattern of the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper to the smaller card base.

I also decorated the smaller card base by cutting Basic White card using the large flower die from the Around the Bend Dies. I also cut each of the leaves from the Around the Bend Dies from Soft Sea Foam card. The flower centres are cut from Lemon Lolly card using the Around the Bend Die. I layered the flowers onto the two outside sections of the smaller card bases.

I also stamped the greeting from the Charming Sentiments stamp set onto Basic White card using Night of Navy ink. The greeting is cut out using the co-ordinating Charming Sentiments Die before being attached to the left hand outside panel. The smaller card base is attached to the outside panel of the larger card base so that it sits behind the openings. To decorate the front of the card, I embossed a panel of Night of Navy card using the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. I inked one of the borders from the Countryside Corners stamp using a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker and stamped onto Basic White card.

I cut out the image using one of the Countryside Corners Dies. I cut a narrow strip of Basic White card to create a belly band and attached the stamped die cut onto the front. I cut Night of Navy card and Basic White card using the “happy birthday” dies from the Wanted to Say Dies. The dies are attached together before attaching them to the centre of the stamped panel. Since there is nowhere on the inside of the card to write a message, I attached Basic White card to a panel of Night of Navy card before attaching it to the back of the card.
This is not a 5 minute card, but so worth the time it took to create, don’t you think.
Bye for now,
Kris
