Layered Thank You

November 30, 2023

This week in my Facebook Live, I shared some cards I created using the Layering Leaves stamp set. Today I have another version of those cards to share with you. I stamped the outline leaf from the Layering Leaves stamp set three times onto the top portion of Basic White card using Garden Green ink. I stamped the fill image over the outline image using Old Olive ink. I embossed the stamped Basic White card using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I attached a piece of Delightfully Eclectic 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper across the bottom of the stamped Basic White card. I attached a narrow strip of Cajun Craze so that it sits next to the Designer Series Paper. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Cajun Craze card. I stamped the same outline leaf from the Layering Leaves stamp set onto scrap Basic White card twice using Garden Green ink.

I stamped the fill image over the top using Old Olive ink. I used the Bough Punch to punch out the leaves. I stamped the small flower image onto scrap Basic White card three times using Garden Green ink. I stamped the same flower onto scrap paper three times using Crushed Curry ink. I used the Bough Punch to punch out all six floral images. I cut the Crushed Curry flowers from the stems and layered them onto the Garden Green images. I attached the large leaves and the small floral images across the top of the embossed card.

I stamped “Thank you so much” from the Layering Leaves stamp set onto Basic White card using Cajun Craze ink. I cut out the greeting using one of the Timeless Type Dies. I did have to cut it twice to extend the length and I showed how I did this yesterday in my Facebook Live. The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the large outline leaf twice onto the lower left hand corner of the Basic White card using Garden Green ink. I stamped the fill images over the top using Old Olive ink. I attached a narrow strip of the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper across the bottom of the stamped card with a narrow strip of Cajun Craze card sitting against the top edge. I had a lot of fun creating cards with this stamp set and I am sure that you will find lots of ways to use it too.

Bye for now,
