Rosey Birthday
My daughter recently celebrated her birthday and I thought I would share the card I made for her with you. I followed some instructions by Teri Pocock to create a Double Z-Fold card. I cut my card bases from Pebbled Path card and layered the large card base with pieces of the Softly Stippled 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (you can earn this for Free with a $90.00 order until the end of February). I embossed all of the Basic White panels for the smaller card base using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.

I stamped the floral images and leaf image from the Stippled Roses stamp set several times each onto Basic White card using Lost Lagoon ink. I stamped the same floral images several times onto Basic White card using Calypso Coral ink.

I fussy cut the flowers and cut down the large images so that I could attached them across the embossed panels. I did attach the small flower on the card front using dimensionals. I inked only the “birthday wishes” from the greeting stamp in the Stippled Roses stamp set using Calypso coral and stamped onto Basic White card.

I used one of the banner dies from the Sending Dies to cut out the greeting. I did cut it twice to make the banner fit tightly around the words. The greeting is attached to the front panel using dimensionals. Once all of the flowers were attached I attached the small card base onto the Designer Series Paper panels. I attached Basic White card to Wild Wheat card and attached it to the back of the card to give me somewhere to write my message. I attached another of the flowers that I had stamped using Lost Lagoon and Calypso Coral ink to the lower left hand corner of the panel.
I love how this card turned out and Teri is so generous in giving dimensions in both centimetres and inches. Thank you Teri.
Bye for now,
Kris
