With You in Mind –
Happy Birthday. This week in my Facebook Live, I share some cards I created using the With You in Mind stamp set which will be available for customers to order in early January. I decided to copy one of the projects shown in the Mini Catalogue to create this card. I embossed a piece of Pretty in Pink card using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (unfortunately this one has already sold out) and attached it to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I stamped “happy birthday” from the With You in Mind stamp set onto Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink. I inked the cupcake image from the With You in Mind stamp set with Crumb Cake and Pretty in Pink ink and stamped three times across the bottom of the greeting.
I cut a “v” into the right hand end of the stamped panel. I cut a strip of Pretty in Pink paper from the 2024-2026 In-Colour 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper which I wrapped with a length of Iridescent 1/2″ Striped Trim before attaching it to the left hand side of the stamped images. I tied a length of Basic White Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack around the ends of the Ribbon before attaching it to the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped a greeting from the So Sincere stamp set onto Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink. I stamped another cupcake image beside the greeting using Pretty in Pink and Crumb Cake ink before attaching the panel to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base. I am so happy with how this card turned out. The project in the Mini Catalogue is simply a tag but I could use it to create a card. I love using the projects shared in the Stampin’ Up! catalogues as inspiration for my creations and I hope you do too.
