One More Year
This is a stand alone stamp set from the January to April Mini Catalogue. It has fun images and sayings and today I have my first card using this set to share with you. I attached two strips of Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to Basic White card. I attached the panel to scored and folded Azure Afternoon card. I die cut a circle from Azure Afternoon card using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached it to the card front using dimensionals.
I die cut Basic White card using the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the cake image from the One More Year stamp set onto the Basic White circle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the image using Azure Afternoon & Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
The stamped circle is attached to the centre of the Azure Afternoon circle. I inked “happy birthday” from one of the greeting stamps in the One More Year stamp set using Azure Afternoon ink and stamped onto Basic White card. I used one of the banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the greeting before attaching it to the card front using dimensionals where necessary. To decorate the inside of the card I stamped another greeting from the One More Year stamp set onto Basic White card using Azure Afternoon ink. I stamped the small “starry” image on either side of the greeting using the same ink which I stamped onto scrap paper first. I know that this is going to be a fun stamp set to create with.
