Congratulations

March 18, 2025

I created my card today for my daughter & son-in-law who recently celebrated their wedding anniversary. I followed a video I found online here which showed how to create this tri-fold card. I cut the card bases from Basic White card using the Everyday Arches Dies and attached them together following the video instructions. To decorate the front of the card, I cut another arch from Basic White card and embossed it using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. The panel once attached covers the paper pieces which hold the card together. I stamped the image from the Stippled Roses stamp set onto Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink and coloured the image using Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends.

I cut out the image using the co-ordinating Stippled Roses Die and attached it to the embossed panel using dimensionals. I stamped the greeting from the Cutest Onsie stamp set onto Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink and used the banner die from the now retired Heart Shaped Dies. The greeting is attached across the rose image. To decorate the middle panel of the card, I cut and embossed Basic White card as I did for the card front using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

I cut Basic White card with a smaller Everyday Arches Die and stamped the greeting from the Layers of Beauty stamp set using Smoky Slate ink.I stamped the leaf image and part of the large floral image from the Stippled Roses stamp set onto Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink. I coloured the images using Petal Pink and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the leaf image in two sections and the part of the large image I wanted and layered these across the stamped Basic White arch. I attached the panel flat onto the embossed Basic White card.

To decorate the last panel, I die cut Basic White card using the largest Every Day Arches Die and attached to the card base. I stamped the large floral image from the Stippled Roses stamp set onto Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink. I coloured the image as before and cut it into sections which I attached to the lower right hand corner of the panel. I think I am in love with these dies and this gorgeous card style. What about you, have you tried your hand at this style of card yet?

Bye for now,
