Paper Hug
I created this card whilst exploring the ways to use the Paper Tags Bundle. I also wanted to use the second pack of Designer Series Paper from the Botanical Textures Suite. I attached three pieces of Botanical Textures 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to the bottom of Basic White card. All cut from the same paper but I just reversed the paper for the centre panel. I attached a strip of Basic Black card across the top of the Designer Series Paper before attaching the panel to scored and folded Basic Black card.
I stamped the greeting from the Paper Tags stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The greeting is cut out using one of the Paper Tags Dies. I cut Basic Black card using another of the Paper Tags Dies.
The two dies are attached together before being attached to the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card, I attached a narrow strip of Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper across the bottom of Basic White card. I also stamped another greeting from the Paper Tags stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I love how pretty this card is even though it is all Black and White. This paper is truly gorgeous and I know that I am going to find lots of ways to use is.
