Same layout, different product
Today I am going to share with you two cards I created after receiving some instructions I purchased from Janice Gilhooley. I found a beautiful scrapbook layout on You Tube created by Janice and decided that I would have to purchase the instructions and they came with some bonus cards. For my card I created a card base from Thick Basic White card and trimmed down the front panel. I attached a piece of Botanical Textures 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to the right hand side of Basic White card. This panel is attached to the inside of the card base.

I attached another piece of Basic White card to the front panel of the card base. I stamped the large leaf from the Textured Notes stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the smaller leaves from the Textured Notes stamp set onto Basic White card using Old Olive ink. I fussy cut the leaves before attaching them to the card front.

The large leaf is attached using dimensionals. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Arched Wishes stamp set onto Basic White cad using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used one of the Textured Notes Dies to cut out the greeting before attaching it to the card front. I did use dimensionals but I made sure that there were none on the piece that overhangs the card front. Janice shared instructions to create the same card using the Arched Wishes stamp set.

I created mine using Strawberry Slush Paper from the 2025-2027 In Colour 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. The balloons are stamped onto the card front using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped them again onto the Designer Series Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut out the Designer Series Paper Balloons and attached them to the stamped Balloons. I stamped the greeting from the Arched Wishes stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I trimmed both ends of the greeting on an angle and attached it to Strawberry Slush card which is trimmed to match. I love both of these cards, don’t you? So thank you to Janice for the inspiration even if I did change them a little bit.
Bye for now,
Kris
