Celebrate
Today’s pages show off some photos from my Mum’s 89th birthday lunch. Everyone was there except Jack who was with his father. I cut the Designer Series Paper from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calender into 2-1/4″ squares. I attached each square to a 1-3/8″ square of Night of Navy card before attaching the squares to White Willow 12″ x 12″ card. All of the photos are attached to Night of Navy card before being placed onto the pages.
I stamped the large and small flower from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calender stamp set onto Basic White card using Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped the flower centres using Daffodil Delight ink. I stamped the butterfly from the same stamp set onto Basic White card using Night of Navy ink. The flowers were cut out with the dies from the Advent Calender and the butterflies were fussy cut.
I also die cut Old Olive card using the small leaf die from the Charming Day Dies and the small leaf die from the Layers of Beauty Dies. The title is cut from Night of Navy card using the retired Celebrate You Thinlet Dies. I stamped “love this” from the Month by Month stamp set onto one of the labels from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calender using Night of Navy ink. I printed my journaling onto Basic White card and attached it to Night of Navy card before placing it onto the right hand page. I love how these pages turned out even though they are probably a little busier than my usual style.
