You Make Me Smile

January 15, 2026

This week in my Facebook Live I shared some cards I created using the Nature’s Symphony Bundle which will be released in the January to April Mini Catalogue on the 6th January. I began today’s card by stamping the large floral image from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set onto Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink. I die cut the image using the co-ordinating Nature’s Symphony Die and embossed the remaining Basic White panel.

I die cut a piece of Nature Walk 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper using the same large floral die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies. I attached the Designer Series Paper which remained after cutting the image and attached it to a piece of Natural Hues 12″ x 12″ Textured Specialty Paper. I then placed the stamped and die cut floral image into the space left in the Designer Series Paper.

The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Pretty Peacock card. I stamped the greeting from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set onto Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink. I cut out the greeting using one of the Nested Essential Dies. The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals. I also added three Faux Bronze Pentagons around the floral image. To decorate the inside of the card I attached a narrow strip of the same pattern Nature Walk Designer Series Paper across the bottom of Basic White card. I also stamped the background image onto the Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink, making sure to stamp on scrap paper first. I them stamped “thank you” from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set over the top using Pretty Peacock ink. For the second card I took the embossed Basic White panel and attached it a piece of Natural Hues Designer Series Paper.

I laid the Designer Series Paper die cut piece into the embossed card. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Pretty Peacock card. I created the greeting in the same manner as the first card and also added some of the Faux Bronze Pentagons. To decorate the inside of this card, I embossed a narrow strip of Basic White card using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. I attached a narrow strip of Pretty Peacock card behind one long edge before attaching the panel across the bottom of Basic White card. I stamped the background image and “thank you” from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set onto the Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink, making sure to stamp the background image onto scrap paper first. I love how pretty these cards turned out and I also love the “two for one” idea” don’t you?

Bye for now,
