Mount Larcom
Today’s pages show off some photos from our stop at Mount Larcom on our way to Cooktown. Mount Larcom is just off the Bruce Highway near Gladstone. I used the July Layout from the 2024 Virtual Album Retreat. I already had the Designer Series Paper attached to the pages I just had to add the stamping. I followed the instructions except I didn’t add the “July” instead I used the Mini Alphabet Dies to create the title.
I also changed the greeting used on the right hand page. The page designers had written their journaling onto the left hand page but since my writing is pretty terrible I decided to print my journaling onto Basic White card which I cut into strips.
I did add some Memento Tuxedo Black ink to the edges of the strips before attaching them to the page. Having the layout ready to go just made it so easy to create my page. I loved the Virtual Album Retreat and can’t wait for the Virtual Card Retreat in January.
