The Happy Couple

February 12, 2026

This week in my Facebook Live I shared some cards I created using the Simply Beautiful Bundle and today’s card uses one of the techniques I shared for this Bundle. This particular bundle is part of a suite of products which will be available for customers to purchase from the 2026 January to April Mini Catalogue. I stamped the large flower from the Simply Beautiful stamp set onto the lower left hand corner of Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I masked the stamped flower and stamped the double leaf image on either side of the flower using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

With the mask still in place on the flower I masked the area around the leaves and coloured them using a Blending Brush and Summer Splash ink. I removed the masks around the leaves and on the flower. I masked the area around the flower and used a Blending Brush and Petunia Pop ink to colour the flower. I removed the mask around the flower and stamped the greeting from the Simply Beautiful stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I attached the stamped panel to Petunia Pop card and then scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I also added three Basic Rhinestones to the card front.

To decorate the inside of the card I stamped the small flower from the Simply Beautiful stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I masked the flower image and stamped the single leaf from the Simply Beautiful stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. With the flower mask in place, I masked around the leaf and used a Blending Brush to add Summer Splash ink. I removed the mask around the leaf and over the flower. I masked the area around the flower and used a Blending Brush to add Petunia Pop ink to the flower. I removed the mask around the flower and stamped the greeting from the Simply Beautiful stamp set beside the stamped images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I love how pretty the blending looks when I wasn’t worried about going out of the edge of the flower with my colour.

Bye for now,
