Happy Birthday
Today’s page shows off some photos from my daughter’s birthday way back in 2011. I purchased a sketchbook from the Creative Design Team and used one of the layouts to create my page. The layout is designed to use 6″ x 6″ papers but I decided to use some of the Wildflower Celebrations Scrapbooking Workshop Kit (last chance). I stamped the title using “happy birthday” from the With You in Mind stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used a the star die from the retired Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Dies to cut Blueberry Bushell card three times. The star has a hole for ribbon but I decided to fill the hole with the piece that is cut out to create solid stars.
I stamped the balloon image from the retired Arched Wishes stamp set three times onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured one image using Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends, one image using Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends and one image using Blueberry Bushell Stampin’ Blends. I fussy cut the balloon images and arranged them and the die cut stars onto the upper left hand corner of the page. Lastly I stamped the star image from the With You in Mind stamp set three times using Blueberry Bushell ink. I love how this page turned out even though it is way out of my comfort zone. All those pieces of Designer Series Paper and the embellishments but it’s nice to try something different every now and then!
