Celebrate
My youngest granddaughter recently turned 16 and today I thought I would share the card I made for her with you. I embossed Basic White card using the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder. I cut Misty Moonlight card using the Lovely Arrangements Die to create a border. I cut a piece of Painted Illusions 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper on the diagonal and attached the Misty Moonlight border along the back of the panel before attaching it to the embossed Basic White card. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Pretty Peacock card. I stamped “Celebrate” from the Boardwalk Fun stamp set onto Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink. I cut out the greeting using the banner die from the Lovely Arrangements Dies. I attached the greeting to the left hand side of the card front.

I stamped two large and two small flowers from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the flowers using Light Darling Duckling and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends before cutting them out using the co-ordinating Lovely Arrangements Dies. I stamped the three leaf image from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set three times onto Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink and cut them out using the co-ordinating Lovely Arrangements Dies.

I also die cut two single leaves from Pretty Peacock card using the Lovely Arrangements Die. I arranged the flowers and leaves onto the card front using dimensionals under two of the flowers. Lastly I added three gems from the Moody Palette Glossy Dots. To decorate the inside of the card I printed the greeting onto Basic White card. I attached another flower and leaf from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set beside the greeting before attaching the panel to the inside of the Pretty Peacock card base. I took inspiration for this card from one that we created as part of the Lovely Blossoms Craft Class, so thank you Stampin’ Up!
Bye for now,
Kris
