Summer Fun
I wanted to scrapbook some photos of my husband with our grandson in the pool from back in 2010. I found the pre made pages in my stash and thought they would work perfectly together. However, I have no idea what Designer Series Paper this is! I need to leave notes with that information with my ready to go pages. After attaching my photos to the page I decided to use the Capturing Smiles Bundle to create some embellishments to add to the pages. I used Smoky Slate card and Memento ink for the stamping.

I used the two large water images from the Rolling Waves stamp set to add Balmy Blue ink to Basic White card. I used the square die from the Capturing Smiles Dies to cut out the stamped Balmy Blue card. I stamped the “Smile” greeting from the Love This Moment stamp set (retired) onto Smoky Slate card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched it out the the plain heart from the Heart Punch Pack (retired). The title is cut from Night of Navy card using the Mini Alphabet Dies.

I stamped “Life’s”, “everyday” and “moments” from the Capturing Smiles stamp set onto Basic White card using Night of Navy in and punched them out using the Three Banners Punch. I stamped “Picture perfect” from the Lovely Florals stamp set (last chance) onto Basic White card using Night of Navy ink and cut it out using one of the banners from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I printed my journaling onto Basic White card and cut it into strips. I dipped the edges of the strips into Night of Navy ink before attaching them to the right hand page. Having the Designer Series Paper already cut and attached to my base pages makes it easy to get my photos scrapbooked.
Bye for now,
Kris
