Just Add – Hearts

My downline Shirley told me about a great new site for Australian Stampin’ Up! demonstrators  called Just Add Ink who post a new challenge every week.  So this week I thought I would play along.  All you have to do is make a project and “just add hearts”.

I used Sweet Always Designer Series paper as my starting point for this card.  I love the combination of colours in this paper.  I used Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip cardstock and ink.  I mounted the DSP onto Chocolate Chip Card and then attached them to my Regal Rose layer.  I stamped “Always” from the Life Definitions stampset using Chocolate Chip ink on Very Vanilla card and then layered it onto Regal Rose card.  After this piece was attached over the DSP, I wrapped Regal Rose 5/8″ grosgrain and tied a knot.  I used the heart from the Always  stampset to stamp two hearts on Very Vanilla card using Regal Rose ink and Chocolate Chip ink and then cut them out (our paper snips make this so easy).  The hearts were then attached over the ribbon  using dimensionals.  The whole piece was then attached to a folded piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock.
