A scrappy day
As you all know it was my granddaughter Jae’s birthday last week and I couldn’t resist scrapping this photo of her.
I used Basic Gray card cut to 6″ x 6″ and using Basic Gray ink randomly stamped the large flower from Vintage Vogue and then sponged the edges with the same ink. I stamped the Melon Mambo card with the vine image from Vintage Vogue using Melon Mambo ink and again sponged the edges of the card with the same ink. I coloured my Paper Daisy using a sponge and Melon Mambo ink and added an Antique Brad to the centre. The flower has the dual purpose of embellishing the page and covering my grandsons feet. I printed the words changing the colour to match the Melon Mambo ink and punched it out with the Oval Extra Large Punch. I attached this to a tag cut using Melon Mambo card, the Big Shot and the Lots of Tags sizzlet dies.
I am a very simple scrapper and mostly do 6 x 6″ pages. Sometimes I convert them to 12″ x 12″ but I like to let the photograph do most of the talking on my pages. I actually need to do lots more scrapping as I am way behind.
Bye for now, Kris.
I love your idea and I’m going to have to case it. It awesome! Thank you – as always, it’s such a simple idea, why didn’t I think of it. THANKS SO MUCH!
