Just take a sketch
and add some colour. Today my card uses the sketch from Stamping 411 and I had added the colours from this weeks Diva Coffee Break Challenge.
The base card is Night of Navy and I have swiped myNight of Navy ink pad over it to give it some texture. The Sahara Sand card has been torn along the top (a bit hard to see but trust me) and then embossed using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. To make my focal image I stamped the flower from Pocket Silhouettes using Night of Navy ink onto Sahara Sand card and punched it out using the 2″ x 1 3/8″ Oval Extra Large. I added this to the centre of a Bashful Blue tag cut using the Big Shot and one of the dies from the Lots of Tags Sizzlit 4 pack. Using dimensionals I centred this onto a piece of Night of Navy card embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and layered it onto a piece of Bashful Blue card.
I love this card. I love the clean lines and I love the colours. Not a combination I have used before but one I will definitely keep in mind.
Bye for now, Kris.

I love it too, and the colour combination is not one that I would naturally turn to, but I might just have to change my mind on that!
