Doilies in Poppy Parade

Here is a quick card I made that is a case of one I made previously in Wisteria Wonder.  This one uses Poppy Parade for the base card.  I stamped two of the images from the Delicate Doilies stampset onto Whisper White card using Poppy Parade ink.  I attached a piece of Poppy Parade Designer Paper from the Hostess Designer Series Paper Pack – In-Colour to the lower half of the Whisper White card.  I was really glad to use a little more of this paper before it retires on the 31st August.  I wrapped the Whisper White card with Poppy Parade 1/2″ Stitched-Poly Ribbon.  The whole piece was then attached to the base card.  I stamped “Get Well Soon” from the Sincere Salutations stampset onto Whisper White card using Poppy Parade ink and punched it out using the Decorative Label Punch.  I punched another Decorative Label from Poppy Parade card and cut it in half.  I attached one half to the back of the bottom half of the stamped Decorative Label.  This was then attached to the card front underneat the ribbon. 

I tied a bow using the Poppy Parade 1/2″ Stitched-Poly Ribbon and attached it to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.  I love the simplicity of this layout and I just know it would look fabulous in just about any colour.
