Technostamper Challenge 194

October 6, 2011

Well I finally had a chance to play along with the sketch challenge at Techno Stamper this week.  I love the sketches on this blog and really do love to be able to play along.

I started with Cherry Cobbler card stock, scored and folded to make the base card.  I added a layer of Crumb Cake card stock which has been embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  I added another layer of Cherry Cobbler which has also been embossed, this time using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  I attached a narrow strip of Crumb Cake striped Designer Paper from the Neutrals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack to a strip of Always Artichoke card stock and then attached this to the card front over the Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake panels.  I cut the middle sized oval from Very Vanilla card stock using the Ovals Originals Die.  I stamped the pot base from the Pennant Parade stampset onto Very Vanilla Card using Cherry Cobbler ink and cut it out.  I stamped the tree image from the same stampset onto Very Vanilla card stock using Always Artichoke ink and punched it out using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch.  I also stamped the star image using Daffodil Delight ink onto Very Vanilla card stock and cut it out.  I attached the pot base onto the Very Vanilla card stock oval and then attached the tree over the top using dimensionals.  I attached the star to the top of the tree and coloured it using the Two-Way Glue Pen and then sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds.  The oval is attached to the card base using dimensionals.   I wasn’t going to add a sentiment to this card but at the last minute decided to stamp the “Merry Christmas” from the Contempo Christmas stampset onto the Crumb Cake Designer Paper using Cherry Cobbler ink.  Lucky for me I used the stamp-a-ma-jig and it worked perfectly.

I am really happy with the finished product.  What do you think?

Bye for now, Kris.
