A Christmas SC 013/11

October 26, 2011

Here is another card I made using the Sketch at Sunny Challenges and Creations for this week.

I used Always Artichoke card stock for my base card and added a layer of Sahara Sand which has been embossed using the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  I embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and attached it to Rich Razzleberry card stock.  This piece is attached to the card front using dimensionals so that it sits inside the embossed frame.  I stamped the image from the Easy Events stampset onto Whisper White card using Black Stazon ink.  I coloured the image using my Rich Razzleberry and Always Artichoke Stampin’ Write Markers.  I punched the image using the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, sponged the edges with Always Artichoke ink and added it to an Always Artichoke 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle.  I attached the image panel to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.  I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the Easy Events stampset onto Whisper white card using Always Artichoke ink.  I punched the image using the narrow end of the Decorative Label punch and then re-inserted it into the punch so that you get this cute little frame.  I sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry ink and then attached it to the card front using dimensionals.

I hope you are going to play along this week at Sunny Challenges and Creations, there is still plenty of time.

Bye for now, Kris.
