Stampin’ Up! Jewellery (Sneak Peak)

November 15, 2011

I am really excited about the new Simply Adorned jewellery line which has been included in the soon to be released Summer Mini Catalogue (1st December).  The line includes a bracelet and necklace to which you can add some fabulous baubles and charms.   The charms open and you can add your own artwork to make a necklace for every occasion.

This is my first attempt at an insert for the largest charm which is 2.5 x 3.2cm.  They are really tiny but I believe it is going to be quite addictive to make these cute little inserts.  I used Whisper White card stock and stamped down the right hand side using Crumb Cake ink and one of the images from the Tiny Tags stampset.  I already had a strip of the beautiful Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper (which I cut for my Beautiful Girls scrap page) so I punched a little strip of Basic Black card stock using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Bunch and added it behind the designer paper and attached it to the left hand side of the insert.  I stamped the heart image from the Tiny Tags stampset onto Whisper White card using Cherry Cobbler ink and punched it out using the smallest heart on the Heart to Heart punch.  I attached it to the right hand side of the insert using part of a dimensional and added small Basic Rhinestone.  I think it looks cute and quite elegant.

I’d love to know what you think about this new addition to the Stampin’ Up! product line.

Bye for now, Kris.
