Upsy Daisy Demonstration

November 23, 2011

I promised to come back today and share with you the card that I demonstrated at my last workshop.  This card uses one of my favourite stampsets Upsy Daisy and the Designer Embossing Frames.

I embossed the rectangle frame using the Designer Embossing Folder onto Whisper White card stock on the bottom right hand side and attached it to scored and folded Soft Suede card stock.  I inked the flower image from the Upsy Daisy stampset using my Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped onto Whisper White card stock.  I punched the long edge of a narrow strip of Soft Suede card stock using the Eyelet Edge Border Punch, attached it behind the image panel, wrapped it with Rich Razzleberry 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon and tied a knot.  This piece was then attached to the card front.

I stamped the greeting from the Upsy Daisy Stampset onto Whisper White card stock using Rich Razzleberry ink and my stamp-a-ma-jig to get perfect placement.  I added a mat of Soft Suede card stock and then attached it to the  middle of my embossed frame.

I love these new Designer Frames Embossing Folders, they give so many options to create a beautiful frame for an image or a greeting.

I’ll pop in soon and share the make and take we did.

Bye for now, Kris.
