Anniversary Card

September 14, 2012

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary last week and I thought that I would share the card that I made for him.

I embossed the top 2/3rds of a piece of Whisper White card using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I stamped the greeting from the Loving Thoughts stampset onto the bottom right hand corner using Night of Navy ink.  I punched both long edges of a strip of Night of Navy card using the Scallop Border Punch and attached it to cover the end of the embossing on the Whisper White card.  I added a strip of Whisper White to the punched Night of Navy card, wrapped it with the 3/8″ Denim Jean Ribbon and then attached it to scored and folded Night of Navy card.  I stamped the “24-7” imaged from the Pretty Postage stamp set three times onto Whisper White card using Night of Navy ink.  I punched the images using the 1″ Square Punch.  I punched Night of Navy card using the Postage Stamp Punch three times.  I attached two of the stamped 1″ square images to the Night of Navy postage stamps using dimensionals.  I attached the other stamped image using Snail and then used dimensionals to attach it to the card front – this is the central image.  The other two are attached to the card front using snail.

You probably already realise that I love using lots of white on my cards and this one is no exception.  I probably love this Night of Navy/Whisper White combination best of all.

I’d love to hear what you think.

Bye for now, Kris.
