Sunny Challenge 63

October 14, 2012

Our challenge this week was set by Gwen and luckily she provided it many weeks ago.  She has been very lenient on us as all we have to do is use the sketch.

I decided to use my new favourite stamp set (at least for this week) Everything Eleanor and make a bit of a one sheet wonder.  I stamped the flower onto Very Vanilla card using Cherry Cobbler ink.  I also stamped the flower onto four post-it-notes and cut them out so that I could mask the ones on the Very Vanilla card.  Next I stamped the label image using Crumb Cake ink.  I also stamped this onto a post-it-note and cut it out.  I masked the label and then stamped over the top of everything with the flourish using Always Artichoke ink.  Then I cut the card into 3 strips and attached them to Crumb Cake card.  I wrapped the piece with Cherry Cobbler 1/2″ Seam Binding and tied a knot before attaching it to scored and folded Cherry Cobbler card.  I stamped Birthday Wishes from the Bring on the Cake stamp set onto Very Vanilla card using Cherry Cobbler ink and punched it out using the Large Oval Punch.  I embossed Always Artichoke card using the oval Designer Frame Embossing Folder and then cut around the outside of the frame.  I attached the greeting in the centre and then attached it to the card front over the ribbon using dimensionals.

I’m kind of pleased with this and I did have fun using this great stamp set.  What do you think?

Ok so now for some more inspiration pop over to Sunny Challenges and see what Vicky and Gwen  have created.  Once you have made your card, scrap page or 3d item add it to Mr. Linky.  We love seeing your creations.

Bye for now, Kris.

I saw your card on the blog and fell in love with it. I was hoping to get one done this week, but going on a trip and it is taking too much time. Too many things seem to get in the way of my stamping!
