Baby Card

October 7, 2013

025Here is another  card for the current challenge at Sunny Challenges and Creations.  I cut the letters from Whisper White card using the  Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies and attached them to Crisp Cantaloup card which I cut using one of the smaller Square Collection Framelits.  I attached the squares to the top section of Whisper White card to spell “Baby”.  I punched both long edges of a narrow strip of Crisp Cantaloup using the Scallop Trim Border Punch.   I wrapped this card with Whisper White 5/8″ Organza Ribbon and tied a knot.  This ribbon piece was attached to the lower portion of the Whisper White card and then to scored and folded Crisp Cantaloup card.

I stamped the words “welcome baby” and “so glad you’re here” from the Petite Pairs stamp set using Crisp Cantaloup ink onto Whisper White card.  I punched one long edge of a narrow piece of Crisp Cantaloup card using the Scallop Trim Border Punch, wrapped it with Whisper White 5/8″ Organza Ribbon and attached it to the stamped Whisper White card.  026This piece was then attached to the inside of the card.

This is such a simple card to make and could be made in any colour.  Have you joined the challenge yet?  You still have plenty of time, the challenge doesn’t end till Friday night.
