Ornament Tag

October 26, 2013

020Here is another gift tag I designed recently.  I was going to share this with you earlier this week as part of the Sunny Challenge but I ran out of time.  Anyway it was a fun tag to make and I thought you might like to see it anyway..

My tag dimensions are 6″ x 3″.  I embossed the lower section of the Whisper White card using the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder.  I punched both long edges of a strip of Cherry Cobbler card using the Scallop Trim Border Punch and attached it to cover the end of the embossing.  I stamped “to, from” from the Tag It stamp set using Cherry Cobbler ink.  I attached the Whisper White card to Cherry Cobbler card and punched a hole using my Crop-A-Dile.  I stamped the ornament from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set onto Whisper White card using Cherry Cobbler ink, three times and cut them out using the matching Holiday Ornament Framelit.  I scored the stamped images in half and attached them back to back.  I cut another framelit from Whisper White card and attached the stamped framelits to the top and then to the tag.  I threaded Cherry Cobbler 1/2″ Seam Binding through the punched hole and tied a knot.

I think this will look very cute on someone’s Christmas present this year.  What do you think?  Would you like to make this tag?,  All of the supplies can be purchased at my online store.021
