Sketch Challenge 33

March 22, 2014

at Craft Project Central.  Every month Craft Project Central has a new sketch challenge and this month I found the time to complete a card using the sketch. The really fun thing about participating in these sketches is that you could win a free month’s subscription.
0013I stamped Whisper White card using the Hardwood Background stamp and Baked Brown Sugar ink.  I sponged the edges with the same ink and attached it to Baked Brown Sugar card and then Pistachio Pudding card.  I wrapped it with the truly beautiful Strawberry Slush 3/8″ Ruffle Stretch Trim and tied a bow before attaching the whole piece to scored and folded Baked Brown Sugar card.  I stamped the stem from the Field Flowers stamp set onto Whisper White card using Pistachio Pudding ink.  I stamped the greeting from the same stamp set using Baked Brown Sugar ink.  I cut the Whisper White card using the largest Deco Labels Collection Framelit and attached it to the card front using dimensionals0023I stamped the solid flower image onto scrap Whisper White card using Strawberry Slush ink which I stamped off first onto scrap paper.  I stamped the outline flower image over the top using Strawberry Slush ink.  I cut out the flowers and attached them to the card front over the stem.

Inside the card I stamped part of the stem image onto Whisper White card using Pistachio Pudding ink and then stamped the solid flower and detail flower.  I attached a piece of Whisper White card stamped with the Hardwood Background (as before) to a narrow piece of Baked Brown Sugar card and then added Pistachio Pudding card which has been punched using the Scallop Trim Border Punch. This piece is attached to the bottom of the Whisper White card over the stamped image.
