Happy Mother’s Day
I used a colour combination I found on Pinterest to create this card for my Mum for Mother’s Day. I truly love these beautiful ombre combinations.
I cut across one long edge of pieces of Pink Pirouette, Strawberry Slush and Primrose Petals card using the Fringe Scissors. Have you tried these yet? They are so much fun these scissors and not only can you add a fringe to your card but they can be used to make gorgeous flowers as well. I attached the fringed card to Very Vanilla card which I stamped with a greeting from the Delightful Dozen stamp set using Strawberry Slush ink. I wrapped the top of the Primrose Petals card with 7/8″ Cotton Ribbon. I added Sticky Strip to the top edge of the Cotton Ribbon and attached a piece of Strawberry Slush 3/8″ Ruffle Stretch Trim. I attached this whole piece to scored and folded Strawberry Slush card. I cut two sets of leaves from Pistachio Pudding card using the Little Leaves Sizzlit and attached them to the card front. I punched a 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle and two 3/4″ Scallop Circles from Pink Pirouette card. I cut the scallop circles into spirals and rolled them up to create the flowers. I used Crystal Effects to hold the flower shape and also to attach to the card front.
To decorate the inside of the card I cut one long edge of Strawberry Slush card using the Fringe Scissors before attaching it to Very Vanilla card. I wrapped the top of the fringed card with 7/8″ Cotton Ribbon and attached it to the inside of the card.
I love this card and hope my Mum does too.
Bye for now,
