Hello December
Can you believe how close Christmas is getting, not only are the shops (and the children) counting it down in weeks, but in days! I’m not really organised, and haven’t even started thinking about presents. However, I did make a start on my December Daily Memory Keeping Album (after all one has to get the priorities right!). The Hello December Project Life Card Collection and matching Accessory Pack are perfect for creating this type of album. The idea is that you document something from every day in December. Now that sounds like a big deal but think of all the events that happen in December. For me there are lot’s of end of year concerts and performances by my Grandchildren and then there is the tree decorating and the Christmas crafting. Of course there is also the present wrapping and the Christmas baking too. Not everything has to be about Christmas, there are always lots of things happening in our lives and it will be fun to see how much happens over the month.
I purchased the 6″ x 8″ Cherry Product Life Album from the Holiday Supplement and two sets of Variety Pack 6″ x 8″ Project Life Photo Pocket Pages. I am going to the use the Hello December Card Collection and Accessory Pack to document my December. I also have a few stamp sets which I think will be useful to complete this album – 25 Days, Project Life Remember This and Project Life Holiday Cheer.
This should be a fun album to look back on when my grandchildren get older. Our Christmas will be busy this year as my sister, niece and her husband are going to be visiting from Western Australia to celebrate with us.
Anyway, I have created the first page which I don’t anticipate will have any photographs, but I can always change my mind. I have also gone through my pocket pages and added in a few of the cards from the Hello December Card Collection to make it easier to document the days. Of course, because they are only slipped into the pockets I can certainly change my mind and re-arrange, according to when certain things happen. So, from time to time I will share the new pages I create for this album, but you will have to wait till December.
I have never created this type of album before but I am loving that the Project Life by Stampin’ Up! products are making it much easier for me to keep up with my Memory Keeping.
