Happy Birthday Ethan
My eldest grandson is celebrating his birthday today. Unfortunately we can’t be there to share in his excitement but we celebrated with him earlier. I created his card using a combination of stamping and MDS. I can’t tell you how sad I am that this programme has gone away. I love being able to play with elements and resize the stamps to suit my design.
For my card I stamped three of the “splotch” images from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set onto Whisper White card using Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Real Red ink. I added the line image across the bottom of the card using Crumb Cake ink. I added a layer of Daffodil Delight and Basic Black card before attaching the stamped panel to scored and folded Tempting Turquoise. The guitar player was created in MDS. I resized him to fit the front of my card, printed him onto Whisper White card and cut him out. He is attached to the card front using dimensionals. Inside the card I used MDS once again to add the guitar player to the bottom of Whisper White card. This time I adjusted the opacity each time to create the look of movement. I stamped “Happy Birthday” from the Crazy About You stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Ethan loved his card and he also loved the amplifier we gave him. He loves playing the guitar and is showing a real talent for it. I hope that it is always something that gives him pleasure. Anyway Happy Birthday Ethan, hope you have a fantastic day.
Bye for now,
Kris
